Story Moments in Gameplay Context
The story is delivered through gameplay moments rather than only through separate narration. Short cutscenes are used at key points to introduce major story beats and build tension. Conversations between the player and NPCs help reveal the history of the Rossfield family and guide the player’s understanding of the manor’s hidden secrets. In addition, collectible items found throughout the map, such as notes, letters, and key objects, provide environmental storytelling and gradually uncover the family’s past sins and downfall.
